Kim Kardashian embraced the Western revival in a way only she can—by turning the 2025 Met Gala into her own personal rodeo runway.

Arriving at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for fashion’s most exclusive night, the reality TV mogul and entrepreneur wowed in a bold, black leather creation from Chrome Hearts. The outfit, a dramatic nod to the cowboy-core trend ignited by Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour, blended high fashion with unmistakable frontier flair.

Kardashian’s ensemble featured a crocodile-embossed leather corset-style top, sculpted off one shoulder, paired with a sleek, floor-grazing skirt that flared into a flowing train. The back of the look was partly open, secured with a thick belt, while strands of white pearls elegantly draped from the front to the rear of the skirt, adding a touch of delicate contrast to the edgy leather.

Completing her look, Kardashian wore a tall black cowgirl hat that shadowed much of her face, paired with an opulent display of diamonds—drop earrings, stacked necklaces, and glittering rings, reminding everyone that even in cowgirl mode, she's never short on glamour.

Since her Met Gala debut in 2013—where she donned a floral Givenchy gown while pregnant with daughter North—Kardashian has transformed into one of the evening's most anticipated arrivals. She’s become known for her headline-grabbing fashion choices, whether it was slipping into Marilyn Monroe’s iconic 1962 gown in 2022 or wearing an all-pearl Schiaparelli ensemble in 2023 that echoed her early Playboy cover aesthetic.

Last year, in 2024, she stunned again in a metallic silver Maison Margiela number adorned with floral cutouts and an unexpected gray cardigan.

For 2025’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme, Kardashian gave tailoring a twist with a fierce Western silhouette, proving once again why she remains one of the Met Gala’s reigning queens.
