The 17th edition of the Headies Awards took place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, bringing together the crème de la crème of the music industry. The night was packed with excitement as the biggest names in Afrobeats and global music were celebrated. Top winners included Zerry DL, Tems, Flavour, Rema, and Davido, who each walked away with prestigious accolades.

The event attracted a star-studded crowd from both the entertainment and political sectors. Notable attendees included Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux and his wife Priscilla, actress Nancy Isime, Big Brother Naija 2021 winner White Money, and socialite Cubana Chief Priest. Other prominent figures such as Collins Enebeli Ajereh (father of Don Jazzy) and Lagos State Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotoso, also graced the red carpet.
