LOS ANGELES — A Beyoncé fan says they were left "devastated and duped" after shelling out nearly $700 for a pair of tickets to see the music icon on her Cowboy Carter Tour—only to be met with obstructed views, distorted sound, and what they now call the “worst concert experience” of their life.

The disgruntled attendee, who shared their ordeal with the Daily Mail, said they thought they were treating themselves to a once-in-a-lifetime experience when they bought $350 seats in the first elevation level at SoFi Stadium, just above the floor. But things didn’t go according to plan.

“I wanted to be close to the action and was told these seats offered an incredible view of the stage,” the fan said. “I thought I was making a smart decision.”

Instead, they found themselves staring at scaffolding and a large box-like structure that completely blocked key parts of the show.

Despite doing hours of research beforehand—including checking seating charts and fan photos—the fan said there was no warning of any visual obstruction.

“I felt completely bamboozled,” they said. “Not once did the ticket or the site mention the view could be blocked.”

'I Paid $700 to Watch Beyoncé on a Tiny TV'

To make matters worse, the venue had apparently tried to compensate by mounting a small screen to the back of the structure.

“I traveled an hour and dropped $700 only to watch Beyoncé perform on a screen smaller than what I have at home,” they said. “That’s not what I paid for.”

The fan added that several people in the same section were moved after complaining early—but when they tried to do the same, they were redirected between staff and denied access to other seats.

Sound Problems and Cold Air Add to the Chaos

Beyond the blocked view, the sound quality reportedly left much to be desired. The speakers were aimed directly at their section, causing audio distortion so intense it became uncomfortable.

“I’m not being dramatic when I say it felt like Beyoncé was screaming into a toy karaoke mic,” the fan said. “It was painfully loud and totally ruined the music.”

They also complained that the venue's air conditioning made the night feel “arctic,” saying, “I would’ve been warmer watching the show in an igloo.”

Despite trying to salvage the night by settling into what they dubbed “the dreaded corral,” the fan said they’d already missed key moments, like Beyoncé riding a mechanical bull onstage.

'She Was Amazing—But It Wasn’t Worth It'

Though they praised Beyoncé’s performance, calling her “a master on stage,” the fan admitted the overall experience left a bitter taste.

“If I had stayed home and watched it on YouTube, I would’ve had a better time—and $700 in my pocket.”

They attempted to get a refund from Ticketmaster but were told the company doesn’t take responsibility for venue issues. The only compensation they received was a refund of the $114 service fee.

The fan ended their account with a cutting remark:

“I’ve seen everyone—Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Britney, JLo, Justin, Miley, Pink, Christina—but this was hands down the worst concert experience I’ve ever had.”
